Veg Momos

For the outer covering of the Momos:

Wheat flour-1/2 cup

Oil-1/2 son

Water-less than 1/2 cup to knead the dough.

Mix the above ingredients and knead a soft dough using little water.

Keep the dough covered with a wet cloth and keep aside.

For the filling.

1 small carrot grated

1/4 piece of Cabbage finely shredded.

Soy sauce-1/2 spn

Salt as per taste

G chillies-1 or 2 as per taste finely chopped

Pepper pdr-2 pinches

Ginger & Garlic -1 son paste or finely chopped.

Onion-1 finely chopped

Oil -2 table spoons

Method:

In a pan take some oil and fry the onion garlic for about a minute until you get an aroma.

Add the grated carrots, Cabbage and onions.

Sauté for a minute.

Add the rest of the ingredients and finally the finely chopped spring onions.

Mix well and keep aside.

Now make small balls of the wheat dough and with the help of your fingers roll then into a small Puri.on the Puri put a small spoonful of the mixture and then with the help of the finger gently shape them into momos.

Pinch the edges in order to seal the ends.

Follow the same method with the remaining dough and mixture.

Now take a steamer and in a greased plate place the momos,preferably bamboo one and steam the momos for about 15 mins.

Serve the momos with green chutney or chilli sauce.
