Today after a long time I prepared this dish. My grandmas both paternal and maternal were good cooks.
They made such simple dishes which tasted so yummy and heavenly wanting to have more.
Try it as its not only healthy and full of nutrients but also easy and quick to prepare.
- Bitter gourd-1 cut into small pieces.
- Onion chopped-1
- Raw Mango -1 peeled and chopped
- Jaggery-1 t spn
- Green chillies-3-4 chopped finely.
- Garlic cloves-4-5 crushed.
- Salt as per taste.
In a pan add a spoonful of oil and then the crushed garlic and green chillies. When it begins to change colour add in salt and jaggery and cook for about half a minute.
Add the bitter gourd and when its half done add in the chopped mango bits and cook for another 5-6 minutes on low flame and on closed lid.
