Sanna appos a healthy option of sanna polo(dosa).Tastes good with coconut oil.
- Cabbage chopped finely-1 cup
- Onions-2 chopped funely
- Red chillies-4
- Suji rava-1/2 cup
- Tuvar dal-1/2 cup
- Coconut grated-little less than 1/2 cup.
- Hing-1/4 spn
- Tamarind- small piece.
- Coriander seeds-1 spn(optional)
- Salt to taste
- Coconut oil to make appos.
Soak tuvar dal for about 1 hour and then grind it along with grated coconut,red chillies, tamarind, asafoetida and coriander seeds to a little coarse paste adding very little water.
In a bowl mix this masala along with the chopped onions and cabbage,suji and salt. Mix well and after about 10 minutes make appos using coconut oil.
