Almonds & Anjeer kheer(Figs)

  • Almonds and Anjeer kheer:
  • Almonds 10-12
  • Anjeer-4
  • Brown sugar-2 spoons
  • milk 1 cup.
  • Keasar 2-3 strands
  • Almonds-2 chopped for garnishing
  • Cardamom powder-1/4 spn.

Chop Anjeer n soak them in 1/4 cup milk and keep aside.

Soak almonds in water for about an hour and peel them.

Grind the almonds to a smooth paste and then add the soaked anjeer along with the milk and grind it for about 2-3 secs.It should be coarse.

Now take milk in a kadai and boil it. Add the brown sugar and when it thickens slightly add the ground almond anjeer paste and boil for another 2-3 mins. Garnish with kesar ,cardamom and almond bits.
